A report on wkyt.com said 15-year-old Trinity Gay died after a shooting at a Lexington restaurant.
Gay died from her injuries just before 5 am on Sunday.
Lexington police say they responded to a call of shots fired at the Cook Out restaurant on South Broadway just before 4 am.
Police say people in two cars exchanged gunfire, then drove away.
Officials say Gay was taken to UK Hospital with a gunshot wound to her neck.
Trinity, who died shortly before 5am, was not in either of the vehicles and may have been a bystander.
Two persons of interest are being questioned because their vehicle matched the description of the Dodge Charger.
